Came eternal God signaled by a star


A creation, a people rebellious

For their sins they were zealous

Sitting in sorrows and sins

Then came our God in human skin

Bore the sins of those defiled

Living life fully mortal

This the God immortal


He died the death we deserved

Rose to life forever

Returning again at the consummation

Taking from every tribe, tongue and nation


Forever with his people to dwell
