You found me in a desert place You found me in the grave What good was there in me? That you chose my soul to save What you could see When there was nothing in me Dried not thirsting Awake yet sleeping Dead yet living I was crawling along on coarse ground Desert creatures all…
You found me in a desert place
You found me in the grave
What good was there in me?
That you chose my soul to save
What you could see
When there was nothing in me
Dried not thirsting
Awake yet sleeping
Dead yet living
I was crawling along on coarse ground
Desert creatures all around
Making loud a horrid sound
You found me in that desert place
Took me from the grave
You took pity
You washed me
In regal garments clothed me
Now I do to the least
That life and love be increased
As you have set me free
That they may see your face
In their desert place
Into paradise
Again to Eden
Out of a desert place
To life everlasting
